We take pride in our craft to give you lashes you will love. But, how you take care of them at home greatly effects the longevity and quality of your results and retention. Please read the information below throughly.
Before your Lash Extension Appointment:
- If this is your first time getting lash extensions, we offer complementary patch tests. This must be booked 48 hours before your scheduled lash appointment. Contact our Studio, or book online.
- If this is your first appointment at our Studio, please review and fill out all pre-appointment forms sent by email. Or, arrive 10 minutes early to fill them out in person. The forms can also be reviewed as a PDF at the bottom of this page.
- Please wear no eye makeup to your appointment, just clean lashes. The residue of eye makeup can stop the lash glue from adhering properly.
- Mascara is lash extensions nemesis! If you arrive with full mascara on, the stylist may be obligated to a full removal and new set. So keep it safe, and don't wear mascara.
- Contact lenses must be removed during your appointment. We provide lens cases and solution.
- Feel free to bring any items to your appointment that make you feel more comfortable such as headphones, socks, or a blanket.
- If it is a lash fill, give your lashes a good clean the morning of your appointment with the Lash Cleanser provided to you by your Stylist.
- For lash fills, 40% retention is desired. Less than 40% may be a full set, not a fill. Chat with your stylist to discuss the ideal time for a lash fill based on your specific lash line.
After your Lash Extension Appointment:
- Keep your lashes dry for 24 hours following your appointment. Ask your Stylist for a shower shield if needed.
- Wash your Lashes daily with the Lash Foam Cleanser provided to you by your Stylist. Clean lashes are crucial in keeping your lashes healthy and maintaining good retention.
- Do not use any oil-based makeup removed or moisturizers on the eye area.
- Do not pick, pull or play with your lash extensions.
- Be aware that oil-based products (eyeliner, makeup, oil-based makeup remover, and so on) directly on or near the eyes, will lessen the effectiveness of the bond and can cause pre-mature fallout.
- Do not use an eyelash curler on your extensions, this will damage both your extensions and natural lashes. The extensions never lose their beautiful curl.
- Never use mascara on lash extensions.
- If needed, the use of a lash growth serum such as EyEnvy will be recommended alongside your lash extensions.
- Be mindful with things such as: Tanning, Sauna, Hot Yoga, placing face under direct water, dishwasher steam, smoking, BBQing and hairdryer heat.
- Do realize that lashes are a commitment, we advise scheduling a fill every 2-3 weeks.
- If you experience abnormal fallout within the first 5 days following your appointment, please contact our Studio. We may offer a complimentary fill in this situation.
